Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Frendormeuse by Jean-Jacques Henner for USD 18,750.00 (€ 15,165.00). This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century European Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jean-Jacques Henner - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work French la Magdeleine, which sold at auction in December 2015 for GBP 43,750.00 (€ 59,410.40).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Frendormeuse von Jean-Jacques Henner für USD 18.750,00 (€ 15.165,00) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jean-Jacques Henner mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit French la Magdeleine beobachtet, die im Dezember 2015 für GBP 43.750,00 (€ 59.410,40) versteigert wurde.
