Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La cartomancienne by Jean-Jacques Sempé was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in June 2021. The price achieved of EUR 13,159.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jean-Jacques Sempé have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 4th of July in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 69,742.00.

Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 13.159,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden.
