Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master and Early British Paintings, which included the work An Italianate Landscape With A Herder And His Cows Before A Hilltop Town by Jean-Victor Bertin. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,373.21) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Victor Bertin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Ruins Of The Bridge Of Augustus At Narni in January 2011 with an auction result of USD 92,500.00 (€ 67,444.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master and Early British Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit An Italianate Landscape With A Herder And His Cows Before A Hilltop Town von Jean-Victor Bertin zur Versteigerung kam.
