Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jia Youfu achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in September 2019. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Herding in the Mountains sold for USD 25,000.00 (€ 22,925.26) - well above the upper estimate of USD 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jia Youfu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sunglow Over The Land in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 2,336,400.00 (€ 270,019.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jia Youfu erzielte im September 2019 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Herding in the Mountains für USD 25.000,00 (€ 22.925,26) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 9.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jia Youfu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sunglow Over The Land im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.336.400,00 (€ 270.019,35).
