Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von DKK 4.200,00 (€ 563,73) und übertraf damit den zuvor vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreis um 40%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joachim Frederik Skovgaard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A youth holding a branch, to the left two flying doves im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 9.500,00 (€ 8.302,74).
