Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 1,175.00 (€ 1,951.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by John Boyd have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Café, Fes in November 2001 with an auction result of GBP 10,575.00 (€ 16,828.16).
