This price was achieved in the auction British and European Art at Bonhams in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Joseph Edward Southall have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Rose Bowl in July 2017 with an auction result of GBP 43,750.00 (€ 48,818.28).

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion British and European Art bei Bonhams in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Joseph Edward Southall auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Rose Bowl im Juli 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 43.750,00 (€ 48.818,28).
