Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Barrage by Joseph Stella was auctioned at Christies in New York in October 2020. It changed hands for a price of USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,049.28) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Stella achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tree of My Life in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 5,937,500.00 (€ 5,243,751.66).
