In December 2013 Christies in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale, which included the work A Winter Landscape With Horse-Drawn Carts, A Hunter And His Dogs, And Figures Skating, A Town With A Windmill Beyond by Joseph van Bredael. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 80,500.00 (€ 96,829.02), 61% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Joseph van Bredael; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Paysage d'hiver à la trappe aux oiseaux, d'après Pieter Brueghel sold at auction in November last year with the realized price of EUR 170,560.00.

Im Dezember 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Winter Landscape With Horse-Drawn Carts, A Hunter And His Dogs, And Figures Skating, A Town With A Windmill Beyond von Joseph van Bredael zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 80.500,00 (€ 96.829,02) und damit 61% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Joseph van Bredael; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Paysage d'hiver à la trappe aux oiseaux, d'après Pieter Brueghel im November letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 170.560,00.
