The auction ended at the price of EUR 6,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Justus Juncker - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Der Alchimist, which sold at auction in May 2017 for EUR 21,080.00.

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 6.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Justus Juncker mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Der Alchimist beobachtet, die im Mai 2017 für EUR 21.080,00 versteigert wurde.
