Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Konstantin Gorbatov achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2011. In the Russian Paintings auction, the work The Doge'S Palace, Venice sold for GBP 30,000.00 (€ 35,021.93) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Konstantin Gorbatov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Invisible City Of Kitezh in June 2021 with an auction result of GBP 525,000.00 (€ 611,761.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Konstantin Gorbatov erzielte im November 2011 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Russian Paintings wurde die Arbeit The Doge'S Palace, Venice für GBP 30.000,00 (€ 35.021,93) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Konstantin Gorbatov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Invisible City Of Kitezh im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 525.000,00 (€ 611.761,48).
