Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Autumn in the park at Versailles by Konstantin Somov was sold in the Important Russian Art auction at Christies in London in November 2012. The price achieved of GBP 97,250.00 (€ 119,802.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Konstantin Somov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Boxer in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 713,250.00 (€ 832,646.34).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Autumn in the park at Versailles von Konstantin Somov wurde im November 2012 in der Auktion Important Russian Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 97.250,00 (€ 119.802,13) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Konstantin Somov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Boxer im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 713.250,00 (€ 832.646,34).
