Auction result well in line with expectations
The work King Rostevan And Avtandil Hunting by Lado Gudiashvili was sold in the Russian Art auction at Christies in London in June 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 23,509.18) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lado Gudiashvili achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work By The Black Stream in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 937,250.00 (€ 1,154,596.91).

Die Arbeit King Rostevan And Avtandil Hunting von Lado Gudiashvili wurde im Juni 2011 in der Auktion Russian Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 23.509,18) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
