Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective, which included the work Hungarian Composition by Lajos Kassák. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 17,500.00 (€ 22,002.33), 17% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lajos Kassák - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dinamika, which sold at auction in June this year for EUR 52,920.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2014 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hungarian Composition von Lajos Kassák zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 22.002,33) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Lajos Kassák mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dinamika beobachtet, die im Juni diesen Jahres für EUR 52.920,00 versteigert wurde.
