Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape in the Style of Dong Yuan by Lan Ying was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2017. The price achieved of HKD 687,500.00 (€ 78,503.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 550,000.00 – 850,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lan Ying achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscapes in March 2019 with an auction result of HKD 29,870,000.00 (€ 3,389,239.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape in the Style of Dong Yuan von Lan Ying wurde im Mai 2017 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 687.500,00 (€ 78.503,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 550.000,00 – 850.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lan Ying erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscapes im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 29.870.000,00 (€ 3.389.239,40).
