Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dives, Tormented By Demons In Hell, Watches As Lazarus Is Taken To Abraham By Angels by Leonaert Bramer was sold in the Old Master and British Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in October 2011. The price achieved of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,629.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leonaert Bramer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Circumcision in December 2004 with an auction result of GBP 41,825.00 (€ 59,193.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dives, Tormented By Demons In Hell, Watches As Lazarus Is Taken To Abraham By Angels von Leonaert Bramer wurde im Oktober 2011 in der Auktion Old Master and British Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert.
