Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Li Keran achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in October last year. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Calligraphy In Running Script sold for HKD 384,000.00 (€ 49,207.97) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Keran achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Magnificent Mountains With Gushy Cascades in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 122,162,500.00 (€ 13,445,426.25).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Li Keran erzielte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei China Guardian einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script für HKD 384.000,00 (€ 49.207,97) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Keran erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Magnificent Mountains With Gushy Cascades im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 122.162.500,00 (€ 13.445.426,25).
