Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2021 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Excursion to Huang Shan by Li Keran. The price achieved of HKD 2,646,000.00 (€ 294,330.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 1,800,000.00 – 3,000,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Keran achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Magnificent Mountains With Gushy Cascades in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 122,162,500.00 (€ 13,445,426.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Excursion to Huang Shan von Li Keran zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 2.646.000,00 (€ 294.330,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 1.800.000,00 – 3.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Keran erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Magnificent Mountains With Gushy Cascades im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 122.162.500,00 (€ 13.445.426,25).
