Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings, which included the work Jinggang Mountains by Li Keran. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 3,000,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 3,150,000.00 (€ 373,972.60). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Keran achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Magnificent Mountains With Gushy Cascades in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 122,162,500.00 (€ 13,445,426.25).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Jinggang Mountains von Li Keran zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 3.000.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 3.150.000,00 (€ 373.972,60) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Keran erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Magnificent Mountains With Gushy Cascades im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 122.162.500,00 (€ 13.445.426,25).
