Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2016 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Cloudy Mountain by Li Liufang. The price achieved of HKD 354,000.00 (€ 39,883.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 300,000.00 – 400,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Liufang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscapes in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 1,150,000.00 (€ 1,070,663.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2016 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cloudy Mountain von Li Liufang zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 354.000,00 (€ 39.883,40) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 300.000,00 – 400.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Liufang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscapes im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.150.000,00 (€ 1.070.663,81).
