In November 2015 Christies in London held the auction Russian Art, which included this untitled work by Lydia Masterkova. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 37,500.00 (€ 53,413.18), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lydia Masterkova - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in February 2007 for GBP 81,600.00 (€ 120,969.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im November 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion Russian Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Lydia Masterkova zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 53.413,18) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Lydia Masterkova mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Februar 2007 für GBP 81.600,00 (€ 120.969,07) versteigert wurde.
