Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Splendid Waterfall by Liu Haisu was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in August last year. The price achieved of HKD 38,250.00 (€ 4,841.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liu Haisu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Huangshan Mountain, Peach Blossom Peak in September 2018 with an auction result of HKD 4,720,000.00 (€ 519,435.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Splendid Waterfall von Liu Haisu kam im August letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 38.250,00 (€ 4.841,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liu Haisu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Huangshan Mountain, Peach Blossom Peak im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.720.000,00 (€ 519.435,55).
