Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two Monkeys And Persimmons by Liu Kuiling was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2015. It changed hands for a price of HKD 350,000.00 (€ 41,578.41) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 260,000.00 – 360,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liu Kuiling achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Squirrels; Foxes; Rabbits; Cats in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 5,575,000.00 (€ 610,816.21).

Die Arbeit Two Monkeys And Persimmons von Liu Kuiling kam im Dezember 2015 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 350.000,00 (€ 41.578,41) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 260.000,00 – 360.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liu Kuiling erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Squirrels; Foxes; Rabbits; Cats im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.575.000,00 (€ 610.816,21).
