Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Magpie, Plum Blossoms and Peonies by Lou Shibai was sold in the Chinese Paintingsthe online sale auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in July 2020. The price achieved of HKD 25,500.00 (€ 2,793.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lou Shibai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bird On The Rock in April this year with an auction result of HKD 126,000.00 (€ 128,670.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Magpie, Plum Blossoms and Peonies von Lou Shibai wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Chinese Paintingsthe online sale bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 25.500,00 (€ 2.793,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lou Shibai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bird On The Rock im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 126.000,00 (€ 128.670,65).
