Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction Important Miniatures from a Private Collection, which included the work Portrait Of Madame Lescot by Lié Louis Périn-Salbreux. The price achieved of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 10,358.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lié Louis Périn-Salbreux - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A young lady in a landscape, facing right in white dress with blue sash, brown shawl draped around her shoulders, short curly dark hair; flowers and foliate background, which sold at auction in November 2001 for GBP 25,850.00 (€ 41,135.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Important Miniatures from a Private Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of Madame Lescot von Lié Louis Périn-Salbreux zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 10.358,23) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Lié Louis Périn-Salbreux mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A young lady in a landscape, facing right in white dress with blue sash, brown shawl draped around her shoulders, short curly dark hair; flowers and foliate background beobachtet, die im November 2001 für GBP 25.850,00 (€ 41.135,49) versteigert wurde.
