The work Seated Luohan by Lü Fengzi was worth USD 15,000.00 (€ 11,878.37) to a buyer in September 2014. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings at Christies in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 4,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Lü Fengzi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lady Holding Qin in December 2020 with an auction result of HKD 1,100,000.00 (€ 116,026.17).

Die Arbeit Seated Luohan von Lü Fengzi war einem Käufer im September 2014 USD 15.000,00 (€ 11.878,37) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Christies in New York erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von USD 4.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lü Fengzi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lady Holding Qin im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.100.000,00 (€ 116.026,17).
