Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2019 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Landscape And Flowers After Classical Masters by Lu Hui. The price achieved of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 28,574.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lu Hui have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Figure Paintings After Old Masters in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 187,500.00 (€ 166,844.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2019 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape And Flowers After Classical Masters von Lu Hui zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 28.574,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lu Hui auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Figure Paintings After Old Masters im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 187.500,00 (€ 166.844,63).
