Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Lu Yanshao achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2016. In the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction, the work Precipitous Cliffs sold for HKD 625,000.00 (€ 72,238.44) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lu Yanshao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sunrise In Tai Mountain in May 2017 with an auction result of HKD 16,250,000.00 (€ 1,855,531.33).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lu Yanshao erzielte im Mai 2016 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings wurde die Arbeit Precipitous Cliffs für HKD 625.000,00 (€ 72.238,44) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 300.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lu Yanshao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sunrise In Tai Mountain im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 16.250.000,00 (€ 1.855.531,33).
