Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Air France, Orient by Lucien Boucher was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2014. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,187.50 (€ 1,483.72) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Lucien Boucher have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Air France Planisphere in November 2015 with an auction result of GBP 7,250.00 (€ 10,326.55).

Die Arbeit Air France, Orient von Lucien Boucher kam im Juni 2014 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.187,50 (€ 1.483,72) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lucien Boucher auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Air France Planisphere im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.250,00 (€ 10.326,55).
