Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work 'Ronchamp 1954' by Lucien Hervé for GBP 480.00 (€ 712.38). This price was achieved in the auction The Sunday Sale - Property Removed From a Scottish Fishing Lodge and a Sussex Country House at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Lucien Hervé have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Three Gelatin Silver Prints, Circa 1955 in June 2007 with an auction result of USD 6,000.00 (€ 4,437.87).

Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lucien Hervé auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Three Gelatin Silver Prints, Circa 1955 im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 4.437,87).
