Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2017 Christies in London held the auction British Impressionism Day Sale, which included the work L'Amandier de l'Averne, Bormes by Lucien Pissarro. It changed hands for a price of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 26,959.78) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lucien Pissarro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gouvernes, près Lagny in October this year with an auction result of EUR 352,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2017 führte Christies in London die Auktion British Impressionism Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit L'Amandier de l'Averne, Bormes von Lucien Pissarro zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 26.959,78) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lucien Pissarro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gouvernes, près Lagny im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 352.800,00.
