MR534 sold for USD 18,000.00 (€ 13,639.46) - well above the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rare and important early "Barcelona" chair in December 2006 with an auction result of USD 100,800.00 (€ 76,381.00).
