The work Orchids by Luo Pin was sold in the Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2014. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 1,380,000.00 (€ 128,348.95), 15% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Luo Pin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bamboo And Stone in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 8,050,000.00 (€ 788,005.01).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Orchids von Luo Pin wurde im April 2014 in der Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 1.380.000,00 (€ 128.348,95) und damit 15% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luo Pin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bamboo And Stone im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 8.050.000,00 (€ 788.005,01).
