The work An imperial Horse by Ma Jin was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in February 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 76,500.00 (€ 8,154.18), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 28%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ma Jin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Appreciating Horses In The Countryside in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 7,280,000.00 (€ 841,354.60).

Die Arbeit An imperial Horse von Ma Jin kam im Februar 2021 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 76.500,00 (€ 8.154,18) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 28%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ma Jin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Appreciating Horses In The Countryside im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.280.000,00 (€ 841.354,60).
