Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Ganesh Riding a Horse with the Sun) by Maqbool Fida Husain was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 82,950.00 (€ 96,121.01). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maqbool Fida Husain achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 1,082,500.00 (€ 1,526,311.41).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Ganesh Riding a Horse with the Sun) von Maqbool Fida Husain kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 82.950,00 (€ 96.121,01) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maqbool Fida Husain erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.082.500,00 (€ 1.526.311,41).
