Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Mother Teresa with children) by Maqbool Fida Husain was auctioned at Bonhams in London in July last year. The price achieved of GBP 535.50 (€ 639.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maqbool Fida Husain achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 1,082,500.00 (€ 1,526,311.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Mother Teresa with children) von Maqbool Fida Husain kam im Juli letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 535,50 (€ 639,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maqbool Fida Husain erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.082.500,00 (€ 1.526.311,41).
