Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Femme Tenant Des Fleurs Ou Le Printemps by Marie Laurencin was auctioned at Christies in London in October last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 70,000.00 – 100,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 75,600.00 (€ 88,073.16) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Marie Laurencin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Femme aux tulipes in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 602,500.00 (€ 462,181.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Femme Tenant Des Fleurs Ou Le Printemps von Marie Laurencin kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 70.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 75.600,00 (€ 88.073,16) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marie Laurencin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Femme aux tulipes im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 602.500,00 (€ 462.181,65).
