The work Tulips, carnations, chrysanthemums and other flowers in a sculpted vase on a stone ledge by Mario Nuzzi was sold in the OLD MASTER PICTURES auction at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2001. The »bidding war« ended at NLG 70,500.00 (€ 33,961.74), 18% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Mario Nuzzi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tulips, roses, daffodils, a carnation, a poppy, anemone, jasmine, morning glory and other flowers in a sculpted urn, on a stone ledge in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 336,000.00 (€ 245,973.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Tulips, carnations, chrysanthemums and other flowers in a sculpted vase on a stone ledge von Mario Nuzzi wurde im Mai 2001 in der Auktion OLD MASTER PICTURES bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von NLG 70.500,00 (€ 33.961,74) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mario Nuzzi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tulips, roses, daffodils, a carnation, a poppy, anemone, jasmine, morning glory and other flowers in a sculpted urn, on a stone ledge im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 336.000,00 (€ 245.973,65).
