The »bidding war« ended at GBP 840.00 (€ 1,245.27), 40% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by William Mark Fisher have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Milking time in September 2001 with an auction result of GBP 7,050.00 (€ 11,382.74).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 840,00 (€ 1.245,27) und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von William Mark Fisher auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Milking time im September 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.050,00 (€ 11.382,74).
