Auction result well in line with expectations

In December this year Bonhams in London held the auction City LightsThe Martin Lewis Sale, which included the work Relics Speakeasy Corner by Martin Lewis. The price achieved of GBP 23,040.00 (€ 26,541.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Other works by Martin Lewis have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2017 the work Snowstorm, Danbury, Connecticut and Study for 'Snowstorm, Danbury, Connecticut': A Pair of Works was auctioned for USD 56,250.00 (€ 47,276.85).

Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion City LightsThe Martin Lewis Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Relics Speakeasy Corner von Martin Lewis zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 23.040,00 (€ 26.541,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Martin Lewis konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2017 die Arbeit Snowstorm, Danbury, Connecticut and Study for 'Snowstorm, Danbury, Connecticut': A Pair of Works für USD 56.250,00 (€ 47.276,85) versteigert.
