Auction result well in line with expectations

In December last year Artcurial held the auction Massimo Campigli Collection, which included the work Donna a la finestra ou Donna di Monaco - circa 1959-1962 by Massimo Campigli. The price achieved of EUR 394.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Massimo Campigli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Grand Magasin Ou Le Marché, 1929 in October 2021 with an auction result of EUR 400,000.00.

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Artcurial die Auktion Massimo Campigli Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Donna a la finestra ou Donna di Monaco - circa 1959-1962 von Massimo Campigli zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 394,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Massimo Campigli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Grand Magasin Ou Le Marché, 1929 im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 400.000,00.
