This artwork by Massimo Campigli achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in December last year. In the Massimo Campigli Collection auction, the work Quattro teste - 1942 sold for EUR 525.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Massimo Campigli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Grand Magasin Ou Le Marché, 1929 in October 2021 with an auction result of EUR 400,000.00.

Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen

Dieses Kunstwerk von Massimo Campigli erzielte im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Massimo Campigli Collection wurde die Arbeit Quattro teste - 1942 für EUR 525,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 300,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Massimo Campigli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Grand Magasin Ou Le Marché, 1929 im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 400.000,00.
