This work without title by Massoud Arabshahi was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art Part II auction at Christies in Dubai in October 2012. The result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 23,151.72) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Massoud Arabshahi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 277,000.00 (€ 177,929.09).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Massoud Arabshahi wurde im Oktober 2012 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art Part II bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 23.151,72) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Massoud Arabshahi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 277.000,00 (€ 177.929,09).
