In November 2010 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Paul Pétridès Collection: “30 Works by Maurice Utrillo", which included the work Rue Saint-Rustique Sous La Neige, 1944 by Maurice Utrillo. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 252,450.00 40% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Maurice Utrillo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Le Paravent De Maurice Utrillo, 1939, which sold at auction in November 2010 for EUR 835,540.00.

Oberer Schätzpreis um 40 % übertroffen

Im November 2010 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Paul Pétridès Collection: “30 Works by Maurice Utrillo" durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rue Saint-Rustique Sous La Neige, 1944 von Maurice Utrillo zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 252.450,00 und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Maurice Utrillo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Le Paravent De Maurice Utrillo, 1939 beobachtet, die im November 2010 für EUR 835.540,00 versteigert wurde.
