Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Soleil couchant sur le Loir, Lavardin (Loir-et-Cher) by Maxime Maufra was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 20,160.00 (€ 17,413.84). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maxime Maufra achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Vent in November 2011 with an auction result of USD 266,500.00 (€ 198,097.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Soleil couchant sur le Loir, Lavardin (Loir-et-Cher) von Maxime Maufra kam im September 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 20.160,00 (€ 17.413,84) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maxime Maufra erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Vent im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 266.500,00 (€ 198.097,08).
