This artwork by Michel Jean Cazabon achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in October 2015. In the Topographical Pictures auction, the work Dry River, Port of Spain, Trinidad sold for GBP 25,000.00 (€ 34,968.76) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Michel Jean Cazabon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Saint-Pierre, Martinique, which sold at auction in October 2019 for GBP 118,750.00 (€ 137,741.48).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Michel Jean Cazabon erzielte im Oktober 2015 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Topographical Pictures wurde die Arbeit Dry River, Port of Spain, Trinidad für GBP 25.000,00 (€ 34.968,76) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 10.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Michel Jean Cazabon mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Saint-Pierre, Martinique beobachtet, die im Oktober 2019 für GBP 118.750,00 (€ 137.741,48) versteigert wurde.
