Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work L'interrogation, 1962 by Michel Seuphor was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 573.75 (€ 570.04). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michel Seuphor achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition No. 8 in November 2004 with an auction result of EUR 28,680.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit L'interrogation, 1962 von Michel Seuphor kam im August letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 573,75 (€ 570,04) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michel Seuphor erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition No. 8 im November 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 28.680,00.
