The »bidding war« ended at GBP 18,000.00 (€ 26,354.32), 50% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Miguel Parra - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work An Outdoor Scene With A Fountain, An Urn And A Basket Of Roses, Peonies, Poppies, Hydrangeas And Other Flowers, which sold at auction in January 2017 for USD 68,750.00 (€ 63,692.79).
