This artwork by Mildred E. Eldridge achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in January 2008. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Study of a snipe sold for GBP 2,500.00 (€ 3,351.36) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mildred E. Eldridge - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hare, Drawn At Aberdaron, Gwynedd, which sold at auction in December 2017 for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,440.15).

In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wurde die Arbeit Study of a snipe für GBP 2.500,00 (€ 3.351,36) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Mildred E. Eldridge mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Hare, Drawn At Aberdaron, Gwynedd beobachtet, die im Dezember 2017 für GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.440,15) versteigert wurde.
