Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July this year Bonhams in London held the auction Le Paris du Monde Arabe, which included the work Untitled II by Mohamed Melehi. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mohamed Melehi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Blacks in March 2020 with an auction result of GBP 399,000.00 (€ 450,552.72).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Le Paris du Monde Arabe durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled II von Mohamed Melehi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.200,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mohamed Melehi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Blacks im März 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 399.000,00 (€ 450.552,72).
